Burgers are a classic takeaway option, but whether you reach for the beef patty with melted cheese or the southern fried chicken burger with BBQ sauce, it can get a little boring to always have the same thing. Luckily, there are loads of restaurants around Singapore that serve up a wide variety of toppings. Here's five of our favourite ways to expand your burger horizons.
1. Chilli Crab Burger, The Burger Office
Had the opportunity to try out @theburgerofficesg's latest menu with over 8 new burgers that's not to be missed! Here's their take on the Chili Crab Burger - with a crispy soft shell crab, topped with a gorgeous sunny side up and sandwiched between two fluffy buns. Burger goals👌🏻😍 #theburgeroffice #cassanadverts
Throw away that standard fish fillet burger you've grown so used to, and tuck into tasty soft-shell crab meat coated in sweet chilli, served on a bed of fresh lettuce and ripe tomatoes. As if that wasn't enough, there's a sunny-side-up fried egg with a runny yolk to seal the deal. This is one of Burger Office's most popular dishes, and we can see why.
2. Bolly Wooly, Fatboy's The Burger Bar
If you find the same-old beef burger a little dull these days, why not swap it for a juicy lamb patty instead? The Bolly Wooly served at Fatboy's is a welcome alternative, a bit of a sweeter meat to sink your teeth into. Coated in their spicy homemade curry remoulade and topped with a tangy mango chutney to cut through the sweetness, it's all served up on a honey-oat bun.

3. Truffled Mushroom, Wildfire Burgers
Over at Wildfire Burgers, they take their burger-cooking to new levels – all made using the finest, 120-day old, grain-fed beef. Between two freshly baked buns is a burst of flavour, with beer caramelised onions, sautéed mushrooms, gruyere cheese, truffle oil, truffle mayonnaise and some arugula and signature sauce for good measure.

4. Wagyu Beef Burger, RV Burger
RV Burger turn simple recipes into works of art. They keep all the traditions of your old-fashioned burger, but with the modern, luxurious twist of a 180g Wagyu beef patty sandwiched with sliced gherkins, fresh tomatoes and cheddar cheese. For an extra twist, there's mushrooms in it – cooked in a veal jus for deep umami flavour.

5. Hawaiian Teriyaki Burger, VeganBurg
Everyone should be able to enjoy a burger – and that's why VeganBurg was born. The Hawaiian Teriyaki Burger is one of their best-selling dishes. They swap out the beef for a soya patty, smothered in a rich thick teriyaki sauce, and then add the sweet flavours of pan-fried pineapple. This is ideal for anyone wanting something healthy but with a bit of a kick.
