'Once upon a time' is not the way this Dessert Story begins. Rather, it begins with traditional Asian desserts and goes from there. You tiao, the fried dough sticks, are a favourite that'll leave a smile on your face. 5. Fried Durian Roll with Vanilla Ice-Cream, Hong Kong Dessert
This dessert is called fried durian roll with ice cream. You might think that durian does not go well with the fried pastry skin. To my surprise, the durian goes really well with the fried pastry skin. It fusion well with the durian and I dare say it is better than the Durian Shake with Durian Flesh dessert. Durian lovers gonna try this! Price is kinda expensive, it costs $6 dollars. Overall, 4.5/5 rating.
Hong Kong Dessert is about bringing the best of worlds and ingredients together. The fried rolls with variations like banana, avocado or durian are warm and crispy, served with melting vanilla ice-cream. The sweet fruits are the ultimate partner for the sweet pastry and milky ice-cream – so enjoy the contrast of textures and flavours.
